ITIA
The Institute of Industrial Technology and Automation of National Research Council of Italy (ITIA-CNR)
plays an important role in the field of automation, robotics and new production technologies through activities
such as applied research, training of young people in technological research and innovation,
management and co-ordination of national projects.
ITIA covers the following scientific and technological areas: CAD, Intelligent Planning Systems,
Lasers, Robotics, Structural Analysis, Innovative Materials and Components, Reliability,
Diagnostics, Technological Innovation, Virtual Reality, and Virtual Manufacturing Environment.

ROLE WITHIN THE PROJECT:
1) Financial management;
2) IMS project co-ordination for IMS-EU-region;
