The company¡¯s production facilities and head offices are located near the city of Veria in Northern Greece.
It is a vertically arranged manufacturing facility that is involved in all the stages of woolen processing, from raw wool and synthetic fibres to yarns and from yarns to finished carpets.
The wide range of activity areas includes the production and marketing of:
o Wool/synthetic shug carpets
o Flokati products (rugs, carpets, pillows, runners, bed covers)
o Berber style rugs
o Woollen and Blend Woollen Yarns for carpeting and clothing
o Woollen yarns for blankets and knitting
PPS exports more that 80% of its production volume mainly to EU countries and the USA.

ROLE WITHIN THE PROJECT:
1) Definition of requirements regarding the use of DiFac tools/services mostly to cover collaborative product design and management.
2) Evaluator and user of the Prototype Designer and Collaborative Management modules for product design and evaluation.
